I'm From The ATL...

Wow! What an amazing weekend…Seriously from start to finish, it was everything I wanted it to be & more….So here is my version of the Jordan/Donnie Atlanta weekend!

It all started on Thursday with New Moon…My friends and I were going to see it at midnight & Mary Ann was going to be in town that night. I invited Mary Ann to join us, so I picked her up at the hotel and off we went! Of course while waiting the 2 hours for the movie to start Jason tweets that they were going to Waffle House. We contemplated leaving haha but decided to stay. We didn’t get back to her hotel, The Ritz in Buckhead, to go to bed until 3:30 am. She was letting me crash for the night because we were getting up at 5:30am to go to the radio station. By the time we fell asleep it was already 4am. When the alarm went off we were so tempted to just keep sleeping. I decided to get up and make myself a little more presentable. We left the hotel around 6:30 am, but luckily we didn’t hit too much traffic.

When we got to the station we saw 2 girls standing at the street, but we didn’t see anyone else. Then I got a call from Marissa (@rissyshepherd) saying her & Steph (@wildspice87) were sitting in their car. They pointed out there were a few people in the lobby, so we all headed over there. There we waited & chatted with people until FINALLY up pulls a black Town car with @donniewahlberg inside! He gives us all hugs & takes pictures for a little while before heading up to the station.

We’re all standing around waiting for @jordanknight when FINALLY he and Jason pulled up. We all ran over to him, and I got a quick hug. He was in a big hurry because they were running late for the interview. On the way out I finally got to actually talk to Jordan. As soon as he saw me he said “Hey Target girl!” OH MY GOD!!! He remembered me! I gave him a big hug. As we were posing for the picture, he asked “Where are your girls at? Where’s Riddlah pants?” I told him they were on their way and would be there for the party. After that I chatted with Jason for a bit because I had a picture with Donnie & with Jordan so I wanted to make sure everyone had an opportunity. Now looking at my pic, maybe I should’ve retaken it haha!

Donnie said they were headed to Waffle House, so we all jumped in our cars and followed them. It was a really calm WH experience. I don’t know if it was because everyone was tired or what, but everyone behaved! We all ate our food while they ate their food. I played some music on the jukebox and JK liked the song choice. Once they were finished I went over & said something to Jordan. We gave them all hugs as they were leaving, then back to the hotel.

At this point I should have taken a nap, but Jordan Idol VIP tickets were going on sale in 2 hours and I was all amped for them. Well I somehow was lucky enough to get the VIP tickets for Jordan Idol at noon…well a little after. Yay!!! I was sooo excited! I was going to get to have a picture with Jordan that I don’t look pregnant in and I’m not talking in!! Wooooo!!!

I met up with Desiree, @Desir80s, to finish getting ready for the party and head on over. We had face time tickets, so we had to be there early. Plus we wanted to be near the front of the line. Erin, @sweetteach81, and Nikki, @packgirl81, were luckily already in line, so we joined them. It was great already seeing so many friends that I only know from twitter and haven’t met before or friends I haven’t seen in a long time. We went in and it went directly into the club. There were already people 6 rows deep at the stage so there was no chance at getting in front. That’s when we noticed the VIP tables surrounding the stage. Well we got a table, but we weren’t sure where our table was going to be. We weren’t sure if it was going to be around the stage or the table on the complete opposite side. We got lucky, and we were right at the stage! We were also lucky that I sort of knew a couple of the people at the table next to us! I was so nervous going into face time. I hadn’t really talked to Donnie before. I still wasn’t sure what to say, and I have no clue what I said. He kissed my cheek and when I went to kiss his, I got his neck haha. He signed my button that Jen, @smitten4donniew, made for me. The reason I brought that was because I only had a black sharpie and the 5* lanyard is black. I couldn’t find a silver one. Of course I get there with the 1 thing silver doesn’t really show up on, and Donnie uses a silver sharpie haha!

The party was so much fun! I got to hang out with so many of my friends! There are only a few of my friends that actually couldn’t come in town for this party, so it was pretty cool having a lot of them in the same place! We were right at the side of the stage for the whole show. When Jordan came out of course I freaked out! At the end of Single, he grabbed my hand for what seemed like forever…in actuality it was about 3 or 4 seconds haha! Luckily, someone (@debbdub) in the audience captured it and sent it to me! While at the party I saw Aaron, and I got a picture with him. Mainly we just danced and chatted with friends for the rest of the evening. After the party, I knew there was an after party at the Ritz we could try to get into or he might be going to WH, but we were exhausted and I was on about 1.5 hours of sleep. Des & I decided to hit IHOP & go to bed.

The next day was finally Jordan Idol! When I bought my ticket I went ahead & bought an audition ticket. Then I convinced Erin to perform with me. She wrote this fabulous rap in Nashville but wouldn’t do it for Jordan. I told her to rewrite it for 2, and we should perform it. She actually said yes!! AHHHH….nervous!! Well I was nowhere near ready to perform, and I was working all day to memorize it. When we got together in line, we kept practicing until we got inside. There was a line for people auditioning, so we went and joined it. The security guy was letting people in 1 at a time, but Erin & I went in together because we were auditioning together. When we got back there, Jordan walked up behind us and said hello…I almost didn’t see him because I was busy talking to Vivian haha…We told him we were performing a rap that Erin wrote if we didn’t forget the words. He was like “now you know how I feel.” Yeah like Jordan is going to forget the words….I wonder if he gets nervous? Jordan??? Donnie was suppose to be there judging too, and we heard he would be there at 6pm. Of course it was after 6 and he wasn’t there. Just as Dannie was walking on stage, in walks Donnie. Great now Donnie & Jordan were there to watch…yay, but now I was more nervous. Well Jordan was distracted talking to everyone who just came in, so when we went up to perform…he didn’t even hear it L What was great was the fact I felt a lot more comfortable once I was up there. I think it’s because I knew a lot of people in the audience. Here's the video if you missed it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5CTLyVKV00 Afterwards people kept coming up to me saying how much they liked it, so I hope Jordan goes back to watch the video and likes it too. One of my favorite parts was when Jordan and Donnie performed Dirty Dancing, Grown Man and One Song….It was great to see them perform again!!! After Jordan Idol was over it was time for the meet and greet. We all lined up to get in. They gave us gift bags with a Jordan Idol t-shirt, autographed picture, cd of a slide show of pictures and a Twix candy bar. We used our own cameras to take pictures, and he took the names of people he wasn’t following. He already follows me, so I didn’t give him my name.

When I walked in again he said “Hey Target girl.” He told the girl writing down names I was one of the girls from Target. She said “Oh I follow you on Twitter.” I said “Really? What’s your name?” Her “Aimeero” Me “Oh yeah! I recognize your name!” It was pretty cool to run into someone else in a unique situation. Then Jordan gave me a rose, and he was asking where my girls were. I said “Dannie, McRiddlahpants, is further back in line.” He said “What was the other one’s name….sweetteach…where’s sweetteach.” I said “she’s not doing the meet & greet. I bet you don’t even remember my name.” He said “Kristie” I said “OMG! You’re right” He said “Don’t test me girl.” I told him he made my night, we posed for another picture. He walked me out and we were chatting. The last thing I said to him was not to forget me and he said he wouldn’t. I walked out on cloud 9….

We had to wait for Dannie, so we were standing in the stairwell. That’s where I ran into Aaron, and I got another picture with him because the ones from the night before were blurry. I said I bet you don’t even remember me from Nashville & he said “Psshh…we talk all the time on twitter.” That was pretty cool too! Finally Danni came out and it was off to dinner.

Later after dinner we heard Donnie was suppose to come to Waffle House. YAY!! We were waiting forever, and the employees were getting pissed! They called the cops on everyone even though we were paying customers! Eventually Desiree and I got tired of waiting, so we were going to leave. We were outside talking to Natalie,@Totatlarious, and Lisa, @sporty1924, and just walking to our cars when the black van pulled up and out walks Donnie Wahlberg, Jimmy Marsh, Roscoe Umali, Robo, the dancers and some other girls. Luckily Erin, Dannie and Sara were still at our table because it was directly across from them! After Donnie was finished eating, he started sending tweets saying things like “If you’re in WH, yell World of Johnny” or “If you’re in WH yell Robo 5 times”

We were watching him tweet, and when he’d send it we would all check our tweets! Then Robo told us to go outside to get hugs and pictures. Someone brought a radio and started playing I Got It and Rise and Grind. We were all singing and dancing to it. Then Natalie pulled her convertible Mustang over with the top down. Donnie got inside and was dancing and singing in the seat. We were having a PARTY in the parking lot! Desiree & I got a picture with Donnie but it’s blurry and I also got a picture with Johnny. I’ve never had a WH experience like what people have always talked about. This was the best Waffle House experience ever, and the best way to end the weekend.

To Kristie great to hang out love Jordan K...

I’ve been trying to write this blog for 2 weeks, but I’ve had a real hard time getting it started. How do you put such an amazing experience into words, especially when you’re literally just hanging out? Well here is my attempt J

It all started with a tweet from Mr. Jordan Knight himself saying he was going to go to Nashville for Jordan Idol & to record. I’ve been planning to go visit my family & friends who live there for a couple of months, but I didn’t think I’d go until mid November. Well once I saw that tweet, I knew immediately I had to work on moving that trip up! It wasn’t until last minute I got the ok from my boss, but I was on my way to Nashvegas!!!

Unfortunately my cousin @dreaangel and friend @shellygirl75 had to work Monday day & had the Lenny Kravitz concert Monday evening; however, it worked out that my girls from NC, Dannie (@Mcriddlahpants) & Erin (@sweetteach81) were only going to be in town on Monday! Therefore the plan was to meet them on Monday, and we would start looking around town for JK. Jordan said while in town, to wear something to get noticed & he would be looking for us. That is why Erin made us Jordan Idol shirts.

They also had “From Charlotte to Jordan Idol” on the back of their car. We spent all morning/afternoon searching for Jordan, Jason & Aaron. Looking, tweeting & following Jason’s “clues.” It was a pretty interesting morning…The bartender at the Sheraton tried to help us out with which hotels to try. She told us Van Halen was staying in the same hotel we were! When we were walking from hotel to hotel, people kept stopping us because of our shirts thinking American Idol was in town. Once we explained what it was, they were very helpful in telling us places to try. There was this one hotel that is suppose to be the nicest one in Nashville called the Hermitage. When we were walking by the doorman stopped us. He asked about our shirts & what we were doing. He said “well I can’t let you in dressed that was.” We were like well should we go inside because we have clothes to change into. We told him we were just walking by and he stopped us. Well he said we can go in. We figured he must have been giving us a clue. We walked in and looked around, but we didn’t see anything. We went to the restroom to figure out our next move. I later found out that was not the correct place & he was not giving us a clue…booo! Outside this hotel is where the little British woman tried to feel up my tatas! She got about 6 inches from me and asked “What’s Jordan Idol.” While running her finger under the words of my shirt…Ummm

no!!! I kept backing away & she’d get closer…CREEPY!!! Well we decided to go to another hotel. About that time we hear a firetruck go by & Jason tweets a firetruck just went by. We decided to go inside. We were already on our 3rd stop at Starbucks but needed an excuse to be there. Then Jason sent a tweet about having lunch & he was on his blackberry & laptop at the same time. We started looking for places with Wifi. Finally we decided to just head over to music row. We were sitting in a parking lot of music row letting our phones charge. Mine was dying & so was Dannie’s. We were moments from getting out when we saw Jason’s magic words “Going to Target.” Now we had no clue which Target he meant, but we immediately put it in the GPS and headed to the nearest one. I was getting nervous because the direction we were headed wasn’t a Target on my phone, but AMEN we didn’t listen to my stupid phone!!!

As we pulled up and were walking in we decided to split up for better results. Well I am a people watcher by nature, so I tend to look around all the time. When we were walking by the front I looked in where the Starbucks was just as Jordan was turning back to the counter. I saw him 1st, and I said “Oh my God.” Then turned back & saw Jason. Then I knew it was them. I told the girls “Oh my God! They’re in there at Starbucks!” We freaked, but stayed “calm.” Erin and I grabbed each other’s hand as we walked up. Jordan saw us and laughed and hid behind a pole. He asked how we found him. Jason said he tweeted they were going to Target. He gave us all hugs and told us to sit down.

This is where it gets hard to blog because for the next hour we just chatted. We didn’t just sit there and ask him things about NKOTB. We sat there & talked to him more like it was a group of friends. There were times we did talk about the guys. He asked us all what we did. When I said I was a real estate agent, he said I should sell Jon’s houses. I was like “OK!” lol… I showed him a picture of me holding the plush Jordan doll. He said he “hates the fucking doll. It looks nothing like me!” He asked our opinion where he should hold Jordan Idol. At the time, we didn’t realize it was going to be like it was. We thought it was going to be more like just a common meeting place and people just sort of play around sing for him. He
explained what he was looking for though. We took a couple pictures & he tweeted he “found” us. When we saw on twitter that people were still saying we found him he was disappointed!

Lol…It was cute because when we took the picture he made a comment about his eyes being squinty. I just find it adorable someone so hot showing insecurity. But that is basically it…We sat around chatting & took a few pictures. It was so fun and comfortable. We were nervous as hell, but at the same time I was at complete ease. I just kept staring at him thinking “Wow! I can’t believe I’m talking to Jordan Knight!” We were actually there for just over an hour I think, which OMG! Is fantastic.

Erin & Dannie had to leave that night because they both had to work the next day. This meant they were going to miss Jordan Idol. Jordan said he was going to be recording all night, but he would let us stop by the studio since they were in town for the one day. We went to Starbucks to hang out until we got the word to come over. Once we got there, we were told to wait on a couch in the waiting room/living room area. Then Jordan came out. He asked if Jason showed us around. We said no, so he said “Do you want to see the studio.” We were like HELL YEAH!! I’ve never been in a real recording studio!! It was so cool!! We got to meet Kendrick(the songwriter), Aaron(the producer), Grant (I don’t remember his role) and Ted (the engineer). By this time we changed into our regular shirts, but brought the Jordan Idol shirts with us. We showed them to everyone. They loved them! We took another picture with Jordan’s phone, which he lost & Kendrick took a pic with his camera which I finally got a month later! We had to leave & wait while JK recorded. They came out to take a break and chatted for a bit. This is when Jordan signed our Jordan Idol shirts. They say the same thing. Mine “To Kristie Great to hang out Love Jordan K” *Swoon* While they were upstairs getting coffee we realized it was late, and they still had an 8 hour drive home! Once Jordan came downstairs we told him we had to leave. L He walked us out & gave us the biggest hug ever!!! When I hugged him I wouldn’t let go! I said something like “I don’t want to go!” He just squeezed me harder. He was such a gentleman and so welcoming. It was definitely the greatest experience of my life! Hopefully they’ll come to Atlanta for Jordan Idol & the hunt can begin again! Wooooo!!!

Atlanta 5* Experience!

My name is Kristie and I’m a Blockaholic…It’s ok, I admit it. My friends have threatened to throw me into rehab, but I’m not going. I’ve been to 2 meet and greets and I have 1 more to go. I also went to Atlanta the first time around without 5* and I’m going to Indy without 5*. It’s ok to enjoy ourselves while we can! This here is a little story about the first 5* of the Full Service Tour 2009, Atlanta GA! I went with my cousin, Andrea (@DreaAngel) and friend, Shelly (@Shellygirl75).

It was pouring down rain and they wouldn’t let us in the parking lot yet, so we had to just sit in our cars, which at least kept us dry for the time being. Once we got over to the venue, it was time to stand in line for 2 hrs!! There we met up with Mary Ann (@BellaTn) and some of her friends. When we finally got up to the front of the line and got our tickets, the first thing Shelly did was take a look at them. She said “What does Row A mean?” I said “Seriously?” Me and Mary Ann were both like “OMG!! THAT’S FRONT ROW!!!” Then she said section 102 row A. I looked it up and I was like “Y’ALL WE ARE SITTING FRONT ROW CENTER!!!!!!” We freaked out!

When we got into the Pre-show BBQ, aka standing in line to meet the guys, we were freaking out the entire time about the fact we had front row center seats. Calling and texting everyone we’ve ever met! Now if you ever do 5* I have a little tip…try to get to the front of the line in your group. You typically get to say hi to all the guys and you definitely get to talk to your guy!

So my goal on this 5* was to get up front because the last time 1- I couldn’t speak and 2- Jordan laid on the damn ground and I didn’t get to stand next to him! I stood next to Mary Ann while we were waiting to go in. She is a 5* professional, and I asked her for something to say. While trying to think of something…oh no it was time to go in! Well we walk into the room and there they were in all their glory! We got to stand and stare at their beautiful faces while the other group did their meet and greet. Well that just made me more nervous! I had already grabbed Mary Ann’s had and at this point I told her I didn’t think it was physically possible to let go! As we walked over I finally let go.

1st up beautiful, sweet Jon…I was too nervous, I have no clue what I said so we’ll pretend it was something really witty and he told me I was the most beautiful girl he’s ever seen. Next was Danny…mmm….that’s really all that can be said. I met him the night before at the hotel, and he was nice enough to take a picture with us. I told him thank you for taking the picture and he said you’re welcome…so sweet! Then the moment I had been waiting for most of my life. Now I did meet him in Nashville in March, but I didn’t say anything except for hi so this was my opportunity to actually speak to the man of my dreams! The first words out of mouth “OH MY GOD!!!” I know…I’m a dork! He asked if I was excited for the show. I told him yes we had front row center so we were super excited. Then I told him the story of how my cousin and I fought over him our whole lives and she always won because she was older. Then it was time for our picture. The moment was so surreal. It was like it was just me and Jordan. We couldn’t fit in with the group so we had to move forward. His arm was around me for both pics. For the 2nd pic he looked at me and I gave him this look that just made him die laughing, so in the second pic he’s laughing. Afterwards he said I was getting sassy in that pic. I said “You know it!” then I had to say goodbye. Then I saw Donnie told him I had to have a Donnie hug, saw Joe told him have a great show then off to enjoy Front Row Center Full Service!

The concert was amazing! The best so far! Front row was indescribable. One of the Jabbawockeez actually said the 3 of us were beautiful! Can you believe it?!?! He pointed right at us as he was leaving and said “y’all are beautiful!” OMG! Donnie made sexy eyes at Shelly all night long! But each one of the guys made eye contact and noticed each one of us all night. It was so special and so surreal! I know it’s a once in a lifetime experience that I still cannot believe happened to me!
